Lawn Pros offers mosquito and tick control programs to help you enjoy your backyard all day and night throughout the summer. Our programs range from every three weeks from May – September to once a month for 3 or 5 months. We don’t want to harm your landscape or your loved ones which is why we use only EPA-approved products. It’s impossible to eradicate every single mosquito from your property – no company can promise 100% protection. Below are a couple of tips to help increase the effectiveness of our program.

Help prevent mosquitoes from coming back:

Defending against mosquitoes can be quick and easy when you sign up for one of our mosquito control programs. Keeping them away is where it can become tricky. When it comes to mosquitoes protecting themselves, they like to take shelter in different types of yard debris. Some common areas are piles of sticks, grass clippings and overgrown bushes or plants. By removing these from your yard, our control applications will be more effective. If you sign up for our lawn care maintenance contract, we will remove all of the extra lawn debris as we take care of your yard. Our quality lawn care services paired with our mosquito control program will help prevent mosquitoes from returning between applications.

Help prevent ticks from coming back:

Finding a tick may personally seem like a rare instance, but if one does latch on to you, they are not to be taken lightly. Ticks that carry Lyme disease can cause symptoms including fever, headache, fatigue, and a characteristic skin rash. If left untreated, infection can spread to joints, the heart, and the nervous system. Those ticks that carry Lyme disease can typically lay eggs in batches of 3,000 or more and some types of ticks may lay up to 15,000 eggs before they die. That is why it is important to take tick control seriously. With our Mosquito and Tick control program, you will be less likely to become a victim to Lyme disease or a tick infestation. Ticks like to be in unmaintained areas with tall grass and weeds. With our lawn care programs, we can help cut down those areas to help lower the chance of an encounter with a tick in your backyard.
